Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 March 2026

1. What Weekly Grub is

Weekly Grub is a paid meal planning web application that helps you organise your weekly dinners. You can build a personal meal bank, generate weekly plans, view recipes, and create shopping lists.

2. Your account

  • You need an account to use Weekly Grub. You can sign up with Google or an email magic link.
  • You're responsible for keeping your account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • One account per person, please. Don't share your login credentials.

3. Subscriptions and payments

  • Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the billing period.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing. If we do, existing subscribers will be notified in advance.
  • Lifetime plans grant access for the lifetime of the service, not in perpetuity. If we discontinue the service, lifetime plan holders will not be entitled to a refund. We commit to operating the service for a minimum of one year from the date of your lifetime purchase.
  • We offer a 7-day, no questions asked refund policy. If you're not happy within your first 7 days, we'll refund you in full.

4. What you can and can't do

You're welcome to:

  • Use the app for personal, non-commercial meal planning.
  • Submit meal suggestions and recipe reports to help us improve.

Please don't:

  • Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or overload our systems.
  • Redistribute recipes or content from the app commercially.
  • Use the app for anything illegal.

5. Recipes and content

  • Recipes provided through Weekly Grub are for personal use only.
  • Recipe features (including recipes and shopping lists) are currently in beta. They may contain errors or inaccuracies.
  • We do our best to provide accurate ingredient quantities and instructions, but always use your own judgement when cooking – especially regarding allergies and food safety.
  • Meal ideas and suggestions are provided as inspiration. We're not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice.

6. Your data

Your data belongs to you. We use it only to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how we handle it.

7. Availability and changes

  • We aim to keep Weekly Grub running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Outages and maintenance happen.
  • We may update, change, or remove features at any time as the product evolves.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue the service at any time, for any reason. If we do, we'll give reasonable notice where possible and refund the unused portion of any active subscription.
  • We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.

8. Limitation of liability

Weekly Grub is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Termination

If you want to close your account and have your data removed, contact us at the email address below and we'll take care of it. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, though we'll try to give you notice first where possible.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
